Why / I Do
Your wedding day is a moment in your life that truly belongs to you and your everlasting companionship. But it also belongs to the people around you; the friends and family that vow themselves to always support you and love you.
After filming 100s of wedding’s, I get the most joy from capturing those moments in my own intimate style; knowing that I’m producing a film filled with cinematic flair that will become a treasured memento for years to come.
My discreet, yet cinematic style, has allowed me to film some truly incredible weddings with some of the most unique people, ranging from quiet, intimate weddings, to huge, grandiose events.
How / I Do
I feel a wedding film is always at it’s best when it is a natural portrayal of your day; when it captures who you both are authentically. This is the reason I don’t stage manage you or your guests, or treat you both like the next Vogue models.
I aim to make you feel comfortable and confident on camera so those natural moments unfold. As with your guests, I sit back and wait for those real moments with authentic emotion to happen, before collecting this and crafting it into a cinematic telling of your story.
It’s in the editing process where I take the time to pay attention to each detail that you so painstakingly spent months planning. I pay special attention to how audio plays such a huge part in your film. Along with the visual edit, I spend hours meticulously listening and mixing different music scores that will fit your personalities, and then blending that with the natural audio from your day. With this, I’m able to create a fuller film experience for you to treasure for a lifetime.
